Support the Lions!
This Saturday, 13 Jan 2007, our Singapore National Football team, in Group B (with also Indonesia and Laos), will play Vietnam at the National stadium at 8pm.
After that match, Singapore will play Laos on Monday, 15 January 2007 and Indonesia on Wednesday, 17 January 2007. All Singapore matches will take place at the National stadium.
You can get the tickets at the FAS Office, Jalan Besar Stadium from Mondays to Friday, during office hours (9am to 5pm).
Prices are:
Grandstand S$10.00
Adult Gallery S$6.00
Child Gallery S$2.00 (For children & students with valid passes up to polytechnic)
I know the Lions screwed up the Asian Games.... but as Radio DJ Glen Ong said today on air, it's on 2007... a brand new slate... so let's start over. No matter what, they are OUR national team. What kind of a Singaporean are you if you'll only support national players who do well? You've to stick with them through everything... and not just wait til they win something before you start cheering them. You're not a part-time Singaporean, are you?
So my fellow Singaporeans, let's go fill up the National Stadium this Saturday and cheer our team!
